I was going to post the same question. If karmic ripenings are only ripenings in a figurative sense, how does the sense of "mine" create good or bad sensations....is it my past imprints that give rise to good or bad sensations?
How is one apprehending the "I" when one is identifying things?
One usually isn't thinking about an "I" when one looks at something, so is it the way we take on a view point when we look at something, like being aware
p146 "However, only the newtral sensations that accomppaythe stroehouse consciousness is a genuine ripening of virtuous and nonvirtuous karma."
ReplyDeleteCould you explain more?
