  6. ok i changed the mic to the more quiet but clear one. Please turn on you computer's volume. Also, in the video box of Ustream, if you tap "seven limb" you'll see the volume button appear on top of it.

  7. Jampa, could you please give us the link to the video so we can watch it directly on the YouStream website? If we have paid to see videos ad-free ($3.99/month), we need to watch the video on the YouStream website. We will still get ads if we watch it on the DNKL website. if anyone else wants to do this, sign up to watch the broadcasts without ads at http://www.ustream.tv/premium-membership

    Thank you!

  12. The teaching was really informative. I liked the story about JeTsongKapa opening to shunayata after a retreat of painful prostrations.
Wish I could have seen the whole thing, but the library closed at 8 pm. Next week being in NYC don't know where to access... NY City libraries are very different. I will try.

  15. Good evening, could Geshe La go over the transition from viewing all phenomena with disgust with a renunciation mind, then being able to offer those same things as beautiful like flowers, food, jewels etc. in a mandala offering

  16. Jampa, it now sounds like someone typing loudly on the microphone. Do you know what that might be?

  17. Could Geshe-la please repeat what is the fourth immense object we should visualize during prostrations?

  18. If we make an offering of flowers or food on the altar how long should we leave it there? What should we do with it after we take it away?

  21. Are you using two different microphones tonight? We can hear the students very well, but Geshe-la is too distorted, like he's talking too close to the microphone.

  22. When I am in public and notice that I have just had a negative thought about someone, what is the best way for me to purify immediately in this situation?

  23. Geshe-la just said that if you break the Pratimoksha vows, you will never achieve arhat status in this life. How was it possible for Milarepa to achieve this state, if this is true?
